Hoping a student trip to Italy will help him escape his troubled past, Dylan finds that misfortune has a way of stalking him. Currently, I am still in the editing and revision stage of Beneath the Ash. To write my first draft, I relied heavily on images from my many trips to Italy, the setting where the entire story takes place. I wrote most of this manuscript during the pandemic lockdown to help compensate for the travel restrictions we all faced.
